HSR Classic 6 Hour at The Glen – Watkins Glen, NY

The 2025 schedule of HSR sprint and endurance race series and championships has been expanded to seven race weekend events. Among other highlights are the all-new HSR Classic Endurance Championship and the introduction of the HSR Classic 10 Hour at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, which joins the existing HSR Classic tribute races at Daytona International Speedway, Sebring International Raceway and Watkins Glen International in the new four-event Classic Endurance Championship.

A major and long-overdue schedule realignment will see half of the HSR Classic Endurance races – the HSR Classic Sebring 12 Hour and the HSR Classic 6 Hour at The Glen – paired up with and preceding the contemporary runnings of the legendary sports car races they pay tribute to each year.

The HSR Classic 6 Hour, in turn, sets the stage on June 12-14 for the following weekend’s IMSA Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, June 19-22.

HSR was formed in the mid-’70s with an event at Road Atlanta. There was one goal then, and it remains true today: to celebrate the race cars from our past. As a “time machine” of sights and sounds, HSR provides a venue for competitors and spectators alike to share in the wonderful history and excitement created by the cars that competed at racetracks around the world. It is the goal of HSR to organize and promote competitive races, featuring historic sports cars. Our top priorities are safety and sportsmanship. Drivers, crew members, and spectators share a passion for vintage racing, thus creating memorable motor-sports events.
