Macchinissima Presents: Dolce e Veloce—June 8 at the Petersen Museum

The team responsible for the excellent Macchinissima show presents the Dolce e Veloce Italian cruise-in: a celebration of Italian motoring in honor of the country’s Festa della Repubblica. Held at the Petersen Museum on Sunday, June 8, this event “unites a vibrant community of enthusiasts, industry insiders, and collectors for a day infused with the unmistakable spirit of Italy – right here in Los Angeles,” per the organizer.
An eclectic selection of Italian vehicles will be joined by some incredible cars from the Petersen collection. A “pop-up piazza” will feature delicious Italian food including coffee and traditional bombolini and gelato, while DJs will spin Italo disco sets.
The afternoon itinerary, according to the event website, “shifts into high gear with a spirited 50-car rally through scenic, winding roads to Santa Paula. There, an intimate private collection tour, a beautifully catered lunch among fellow tifosi, and a fireside chat will cap off a day where automotive artistry, rich culture, and la dolce vita come together in spectacular fashion.”
