This 1946 Hudson Super Six pickup was purchased by the seller in 2010 and underwent a refurbishment that was completed in 2015. It was awarded an AACA National First Prize at Hershey, Pennsylvania, that year, as well as a Palmetto Award from the Hilton Head Concours d’Elegance. It subsequently earned an AACA Senior Award in 2016, and was shown at a number of events throughout the 2010s. The truck is finished in green and ivory over tan vinyl upholstery, and power comes from a 212ci straight-six paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Equipment includes a black-stained wood-floor cargo bed, running boards, a single taillight, and an under-dash heater. This Hudson pickup is now offered with factory literature, car show awards, and a Virginia title in the seller’s name.

The truck is said to have received rust repairs before it was repainted in Spring Green and Nepal Ivory during the refurbishment. Equipment includes chrome bumpers with front overriders, a backlit Hudson grille badge, a hood ornament, running boards, a Hudson-stamped fold-down tailgate, and a single brake light. The seller notes imperfections in the paintwork, and an AACA Senior First Prize plaque is affixed to the front license plate.

Painted steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and trim rings, and they are mounted with 7.00–15″ Firestone Deluxe Champion bias-ply whitewall tires. The Super Six pickup rode on a 128″ wheelbase and featured a coil-sprung independent front suspension as well as a live rear axle with leaf springs. Stopping power is provided by hydraulic drums at all four corners.

The cargo bed features black-stained wood slats that were installed in 2018.

The cabin houses a bench seat trimmed in tan vinyl along with matching door panels and a color-coordinated headliner. A diamond-pattern rubber mat covers the floor boards, and it is topped with a Hudson-branded mat. Equipment includes a gray-painted steel dashboard, a locking glovebox door with a clock, and an under-dash heater.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph sweep speedometer and gauges for fuel level and engine temperature. The five-digit odometer was reset during the refurbishment, and it shows 386 miles. Total mileage is unknown.

The 212ci “Super Six” straight-six is equipped with a single carburetor topped with an oil-bath air filter. Output was factory rated at 102 horsepower. The truck retains a six-volt electrical system, and the seller notes hard starts on cold days.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Clutch and transmission adjustments were performed in 2024. The frame received rust repairs and was repainted black during the refurbishment. The seller notes corrosion on the engine and suspension mount fasteners.

The Virginia title carries a “Not Actual” odometer brand.
