This 1947 Minneapolis-Moline RTI tractor was refurbished under previous ownership and is noted to have spent time on display in a museum before being purchased by the selling dealer in 2024. The tractor is finished in orange and rides on silver rims with red centers Power is from a gasoline-fueled 165ci inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Further equipment includes headlights and a rear work light as well as a pintle hitch, independent rear brakes, and rear half fenders. This RTI is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer in Illinois on a bill of sale.

The Minneapolis-Moline Model RTI was produced between 1940 and 1955 as the industrial variant of the company’s R series of tractors. The body and running gear of this example were repainted orange under prior ownership, and details include a black grille and headlight housings along with a taillight, a rear work light, rear half fenders, and Minneapolis-Moline graphics.

Silver rims with red centers are mounted with 6.00-16 Firestone Guide Grip front and 12.4-24 Deestone Power Grip rear agricultural tires. The tractor is equipped with a utility-style front axle, and stopping power is provided by independent rear brakes. Cracks are evident in the front tire sidewalls.

The operator’s station has a steel seat with cushions upholstered in tan vinyl. Controls include a hand throttle and a shifter along with clutch and brake pedals.

A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a body-color dash panel housing an ignition control, a choke knob, and a starter button. Instrumentation includes an ammeter as well as gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure. The tractor is not equipped with an hour meter.

The gasoline-fueled 165ci inline-four sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a portal axle. The battery was replaced in preparation for the sale.

The tractor is equipped with a rear pintle hitch along with an accessory drive assembly mounted on the right side.
