This 1955 Chevrolet 3100 pickup was refurbished and modified between 2023 and 2025 with work that included mounting the Advance Design body on an aftermarket chassis with independent front suspension, a rear four-link setup, adjustable Ridetech coilovers, power rack-and-pinion steering, and power-assisted disc brakes. The body was refinished in green, and a 350ci V8 crate engine was installed along with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system, a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, and a 9″ rear end with a 3.50:1 limited-slip differential. The cab houses a bench seat and door panels trimmed in brown diamond-stitched vinyl along with an under-dash air conditioning unit, a Lokar shifter, a tilting steering column, and Dakota Digital gauges. Additional features include an aluminum radiator, an HEI distributor, and a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers. This modified Advance Design pickup was purchased by the seller in 2014 and is now offered with a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The truck was refinished in green during the build completed in 2025. Details include a chrome grille, a smoothed tailgate, chrome bumpers, and dual side mirrors.
The truck rides on a fabricated steel chassis featuring an independent front suspension setup with tubular control arms, power rack-and-pinion steering, a rear four-link setup, adjustable Ridetech coilovers at all four corners, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. American Racing Torq Thrust 17″ wheels are mounted with 215/65 Nexen tires.
The bed has a wood floor with stainless runners, and a flush-mount filler cap is mounted for the under-bed fuel tank.
The cab houses a bench seat trimmed in diamond-stitched brown vinyl along with coordinated door panels and black carpets. An under-dash air conditioning unit is installed along with Nu-Relics power windows, a Lokar shifter, and an American Autowire fuse panel and chassis harness.
The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames Dakota Digital instruments consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, dual digital displays, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The digital odometer indicates 650 miles, which is reported to be the distance driven since the completion of the build.
The 350ci V8 crate engine is equipped with a COMP Cams camshaft, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, an HEI distributor, and a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system. The aluminum radiator is accompanied by an electric fan, and a serpentine accessory drive system is installed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a Ford 9″ rear axle with a 3.50:1 limited-slip differential and 31-spline axles. Coated headers feed into a dual exhaust system with an X-pipe and MagnaFlow mufflers.
