1967 Ford Mustang GT Fastback S-Code 4-Speed

This 1967 Ford Mustang GT fastback was manufactured with an S-code 390ci V8 and delivered new to Boulder, Colorado. The car was purchased by the owner and refurbished in 2016 with work that included re-trimming the interior in black vinyl. A FiTech Tri-Power electronic fuel injection setup was installed in 2022 along with rebuilt cylinder heads, an aluminum radiator with electric fans, and a hydraulic clutch release bearing for the four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a cassette stereo unit, an American Autowire chassis harness, a tilting steering column, Classic Instruments gauges, a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers, Global West front control arms, power-assisted front disc brakes, and 18″ and 20″ American Racing wheels. This Mustang GT fastback is now offered on dealer consignment with service records, an Elite Marti Report, and a clean California title in the owner’s name.
The car left the factory in Dark Moss Green and was repainted in black in 2010 according to the selling dealer. Details include white rocker stripes, GT badges, fog lights, and hood vents with integrated turn-signal indicators.
Black-finished 18″ front and 20″ rear American Racing wheels are wrapped in 235/40 Hifly HF805 front and 255/40 Yokohama Parada Spec-X rear tires. The suspension was modified with Global West front control arms along with polyurethane bushings, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a folding rear bench upholstered in black vinyl along with coordinated carpets and door panels. An aftermarket cassette stereo unit is installed in the dash, and the selling dealer notes that an American Autowire chassis harness and fuse panel have been installed. Seam separation at the top of the passenger seat is pictured in the gallery below.
The billet steering wheel is mounted to a Flaming River tilting column and frames Classic Instruments gauges consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 236 miles, approximately 236 of which were added under current ownership.
The 390ci V8Â was modified in 2022 with an aluminum radiator, dual electric cooling fans, a replacement fuel tank with an in-tank fuel pump, and an aluminum intake manifold topped with a FiTech Tri-Power electronic fuel injection system. The selling dealer notes the cylinder heads were also rebuilt at that time.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok differential. The selling dealer notes a hydraulic clutch bearing has been installed. The dual exhaust system features MagnaFlow mufflers, which were installed under previous ownership.
The Elite Marti Report indicates the car was first delivered to Arnold Brothers Motor Company of Boulder, Colorado, and lists original equipment, production statistics, and dates.
