383 Stroker-Powered 1967 Pontiac Firebird Convertible 5-Speed

This 1967 Pontiac Firebird convertible is powered by a BluePrint 383ci stroker V8 with Holley Sniper EFI, a high-performance cooling system, and a CVF billet serpentine setup, and the Tremec five-speed manual transmission is linked to a Strange Engineering 12-bolt rear end. The car rides on an adjustable suspension with front coilovers, tubular control arms, and rear air shocks, and the 15″ Cragar S/S wheels wear BFGoodrich tires and are mounted over front disc and rear drum brakes. The exterior is finished in red and features a power-operated black soft top, a twin-scoop hood, and front and rear spoilers, while the cabin is outfitted with Dakota Digital instrumentation, Vintage Air climate control, a Bluetooth receiver, a Hurst shifter, and bolstered front bucket seats. Acquired by the seller in 2016, this Firebird convertible is now offered in Maine with build records and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in red with a power-operated black soft top, and exterior details include quad round headlights, front and rear spoilers, 383 stroker badging, a twin-scoop hood, simulated quarter panel vents, and LED headlights, taillights, and turn signals. The seller notes the windshield, convertible top, hydraulic motor, and switch were replaced in 2017. Photos of the soft top in the down position are provided in the gallery below.
The car rides on an adjustable suspension with a sway bar, coilovers, and tubular control arms up front along with leaf springs and air shocks out back. Chrome 15″ Cragar S/S wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires measuring 205/60 in front and 225/60 at the rear. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the brake lines and master cylinder were replaced in 2023.
The bolstered front bucket seats are trimmed in black upholstery and are joined by Firebird-logo floor mats and a full-length center console. Interior elements include a Hurst shifter, a retro-look Bluetooth receiver, lap belts, and a Vintage Air climate control system that was installed in 2023.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a suite of Dakota Digital instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary readouts, while a Holley Sniper EFI module is mounted to the left of the steering wheel. The five-digit odometer shows 2,900 miles, and the seller tells us the engine has covered approximately 12k miles, and 16k miles were added during current ownership. Total chassis mileage is unknown.
The BluePrint Engines 383ci stroker V8 is a 430-horsepower variant that was installed in 2019. It is equipped with a CVF billet serpentine drive setup, Holley Sniper EFI, an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, and a replacement fuel tank, high-pressure pump, and lines. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator and an electric fan, and an American Autowire harness was utilized during the build. The engine bay was repainted during the 2019 engine install.
The Tremec five-speed manual transmission is equipped with a high-performance clutch kit and linked to a Strange Engineering rear end with 3.73:1 gears. Long-tube headers are connected to an H-pipe midsection and Flowmaster mufflers.
A build binder containing a wiring diagram, an engine dynamometer sheet, and records will accompany the car.
