This 1969 Alfa Romeo Giulia GT 1300 Junior was fitted with aluminum bodywork as well as a 2.0L Nord engine as part of a build completed by Coolnvintage of Lisbon, Portugal, in the 2010s. Chassis 1232560 was subsequently acquired in 2014 by the current owner, who later commissioned the installation of a 2.0L Twin Spark inline-four by Swiss marque expert Ivo Salvadori in 2017. Refinished in Alfa Rosso, the car features mesh grilles along with one-piece wraparound bumpers and rides on gold-finished 14″ GTA-style magnesium wheels. The suspension has been modified with installation of drilled front spring pans and rear trailing arms as well as Koni adjustable shocks, while the brakes have been upgraded with aluminum Brembo front calipers as well as drilled and slotted rotors. Inside, the re-trimmed cabin houses black vinyl–trimmed Sparco bucket seats accompanied by a Nardi steering wheel and GTA-look door panels. The engine is equipped with dual Weber carburetors, and shifting is through a five-speed manual transmission linked with a limited-slip differential. This modified Stepnose appeared at the seller’s recent Curated Cars & Coffee event in Amsterdam and is now offered by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, on behalf of the current owner in The Netherlands with a collection of spare and removed parts along with German registration in the owner’s name.

Early 105-series Giulias featured a “stepnose” front as well as lower rear wheel arches than later models. This car was fitted with an aluminum hood, trunklid, and doors as well as faux GTA Junior Stradale–style rivets prior to a repaint in Alfa Rosso (501) as part of the aforementioned build completed in 2013 that also included the replacement of the door and quarter window glass with Lexan.

One-piece wraparound bumpers and taillights with metal surrounds were added under current ownership. Further details include mesh grilles and a single driver-side mirror as well as an Autodelta sticker on the hood and Quadrifoglio decals on the tail panel and fenders.

The gold-finished 14×7″ GTA-style magnesium wheels feature Campagnolo casting markings and were installed by the current owner. They are mounted with 185/70 Avon CR6ZZ tires and paired with Koni adjustable shocks at each corner. The car’s suspension has been further modified with adjustable front control arms as well as drilled front spring pans and rear trailing arms. Stopping power is provided by aluminum Brembo front calipers sourced from an Alfa Romeo 75 model coupled with ATE rear calipers as well as drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners.

Added under current ownership, the fixed-back Sparco front bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl with Alfa Romeo logos in the backrests. Color-coordinated upholstery extends to the GTA-look door panels as well as the dash surround and rear bench, while the dashboard and floors are trimmed in gray vinyl. Further details include a heater as well as quarter vent windows and pop-out pivoting rear side glass.

The Nardi steering wheel is trimmed in perforated black leather with red stitching. It fronts Veglia instrumentation consisting of an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 220-km/h speedometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 24k kilometers (~15k miles), approximately 6k of which have been added under current ownership.

The 2.0-liter Twin Spark inline-four was installed by Ivo Salvadori in 2017. It breathes through dual Weber 45 DCOE 9 carburetors fitted with Pipercross air cleaners. Additional equipment is noted to include a GTA-spec distributor, radiator, and oil cooler as well as a 123ignition distributor and dual Facet electric fuel pumps.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The flywheel and clutch assembly were replaced at the time of the Twin Spark engine installation in 2017, while the rear axle was overhauled in 2023. The exhaust system is comprised of a stainless-steel header, a SORAM center section, and an Alfaholics stainless-steel muffler.
