This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette coupe is powered by a 427ci L36 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in Monza Red over red leather upholstery. Equipment includes a Positraction limited-slip differential, removable roof panels, 15″ Rally wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, side-exit exhaust pipes, a heater, an AM/FM radio, chrome bumpers, and hideaway headlights. The current owner acquired the car in 2023 and has since added approximately 100 miles. This C3 coupe is now offered on dealer consignment with the owner’s manual, roof panel storage bags, and a clean Texas title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in Monza Red (974) and features include removable roof panels, hideaway headlights, a driver-side mirror, a luggage rack, and side-exit exhaust outlets. Repairs in the roof panel are noted and highlighted in photos provided in the gallery.
The 15″ Rally wheels wear stainless steel trim rings and center caps and are mounted with Firestone red-line tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The cabin features two bucket seats upholstered in red leather as well as a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, carpets, and trim. Amenities include headrests, a heater, an AM/FM radio, an analog clock, and lap belts. The driver’s seat outer bolster shows wear.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while auxiliary gauges for fuel level, battery charge, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 30k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.
The 427ci L36 V8 was factory equipped with a four-barrel Rochester carburetor and was rated at 390 horsepower when new.
The engine stamping is shown above. The LM suffix corresponds with a 390-horsepower, 427ci V8 for use with a manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and an optional Positraction limited-slip differential.
Decoding the trim tag reveals:
- Trim 408 – Red leather upholstery
- Paint 974 – Monza Red
