This 1970 Porsche 911T Targa is a non-running project that is finished in Bahia Red over black leatherette and is equipped with a replacement 2.2-liter flat-six with mechanical fuel injection and linked with a five-speed 901 manual transaxle. Additional features include a removable roof panel, a stainless-steel Targa bar, sugar-scoop headlight bezels, front and rear bumperettes, 14″ Fuchs alloy wheels, front comfort seats, a Kenwood cassette radio, and a heater. This longhood 911T Targa was acquired by the selling dealer in 2024 and is now offered in Ravena, New York at no reserve with a clean New Jersey title.
The car is finished in Bahia Red (022) and was repainted some time ago. Features include a removable roof panel, a stainless-steel Targa bar, sugar-scoop headlight bezels, front and rear bumperettes, vent windows, and a driver-side mirror. The seller notes overspray in a wheel well and various paint bubbles throughout the body. Mounting holes have been drilled in the decklid from a prior rear wing, and peeling paint is visible around the exterior.
The 14″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich tires measuring 175/75. The car was factory equipped with ventilated disc brakes at all four corners.
The front comfort seats are upholstered in black leatherette, and interior appointments include a dash cap, three-point seatbelts, a Kenwood cassette radio, a 911E dashboard badge, and a heater.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel wears an aftermarket lace-up cover and frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 22k miles.
The replacement 2.2-liter flat-six was sourced from a 1970 911E and features mechanical fuel injection. The car has reportedly been parked for the last nine years and has not been started or driven.
The engine is linked with a five-speed 901 manual transaxle. Rust is present in the floors, rockers, front pan, and suspension mounting points, additional photos of which are viewable in the gallery.
