This 1978 Ford F-250 SuperCab was sold new by Marvin Tonkin Ford of Portland, Oregon, and is one of 35 built with its paint and trim codes for the model year. Finished at the factory in Cinnamon Glow and tan, the truck is powered by a 460ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic, and it has power steering, a sliding rear window, dual fuel tanks, 16″ steel wheels with hubcaps, and a color-keyed bed canopy. This F-250 4×2 is offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a Deluxe Marti Report and a clean Oregon title.

Exterior details include dual antennas, low-mount towing mirrors, swing-out side steps, a rear work light, a receiver hitch, and a bedside toolbox. The Styleside box has a fiberglass canopy with rollers over a drop-in bedliner. Flaws around the body are pictured in close-up photos shown in the gallery below.

The 16″ steel wheels are mounted with 235/85 Dean Wildcat Radial A/T tires. Power steering is noted along with front and rear stabilizer bars, and vacuum-assisted brakes provide stopping power.

The bench is trimmed in cloth upholstery, while carpets line the floors, and the cab was equipped at the factory with air conditioning, cruise control, an AM/FM radio, and a sliding rear window.

The fuel gauge works intermittently, and a warning light for the brake system is lit in the instrument cluster. The five-digit odometer shows 1,400 miles, and total mileage is unknown.

The 460ci V8 was factory rated at 220 horsepower, which is delivered through a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and a Dana 61 rear end with 3.07:1 gearing.
