This 1979 Ford Bronco was modified and refurbished under previous ownership with work that included repainting the body in black, outfitting the interior with front captain’s chairs upholstered in brown leather, and installing a 5.3-liter Vortec V8 paired with a four-speed 4L60 automatic transmission. The truck rides on Rancho shocks as well as 15″ Pacer alloy wheels and is further equipped with a dual-range transfer case, Mile Marker manually locking front hubs, hydroboosted front disc brakes, a removable fiberglass hardtop, and a dual exhaust system along with Old Air Products air conditioning, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, replacement instrumentation, and a push-button digital radio. Acquired by the seller in 2025, this modified Bronco is now offered with a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in black with a removable fiberglass hardtop and was repainted as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. Details include a bright grille, vent windows, a power-operated rear window, chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets.
Polished 15″ Pacer alloy wheels are mounted with 33×12.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. The truck rides on Rancho shock absorbers and is equipped with power steering and Mile Marker manually locking front hubs. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums with hydroboost.
The cabin houses replacement front captain’s chairs and a folding rear bench that is trimmed in brown leather, and color-matching material extends to the upper dash pad and rear side panels. Appointments include Old Air Products air conditioning, faux woodgrain trim, a locking center console, aftermarket speakers, and a push-button digital radio.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of replacement instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary readouts. The digital odometer shows 561 miles, approximately 400 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 5.3-liter Vortec V8 was installed as part of the build and has been fitted with tubular exhaust headers and an aftermarket intake manifold and air intake system. The seller tells us that the wiring has been replaced, and an aluminum radiator with dual electric cooling fans has also been installed.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed 4L60 automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. An external transmission fluid cooler and a dual exhaust system have been fitted.
