This Porsche 911SC got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1980 Porsche 911SC coupe spent time in Colorado and Vermont before being relocated to California, where it was acquired by the seller in 2015. It is powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in metallic blue over black leatherette upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels, disc brakes, H1 headlights, dual side mirrors, rear bumperettes, cruise control, a cigarette lighter, and a Becker Europa cassette stereo. This 911SC coupe is now offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory finished in Light Blue Metallic and received a repaint under prior ownership. Exterior details consist of H1 headlights, dual side mirrors, and rear bumperettes. The sunroof does not work, and scuffs, scratches, and dings are present around the body.

The 15″ Fuchs wheels are mounted with Toyo Proxes R888R tires with 2024 date codes measuring 225/50 up front and 235/50 out back. The car is equipped with a front strut tower brace, and the seller states Carrera-specification brakes have been installed.

The seating surfaces are trimmed in black leatherette upholstery, and interior elements include cruise control, a cigarette lighter, a lockable glove compartment, and a Becker Europa cassette stereo. The center console has been removed, and images detailing interior wear are provided in the gallery below. The driver’s window motor was replaced in September 2022.

The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 189k miles, approximately 12k of which have been added under current ownership. The odometer was rebuilt in September 2022, therefore true mileage is unknown.

The 3.0-liter flat-six features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 172 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque. The seller states the engine was rebuilt in 1996, a top-end rebuild was completed in 2002, the head gaskets were replaced in 2015, and broken head studs were replaced in January 2025.
