1984 Ford Mustang GT 20th Anniversary Edition Convertible 5-Speed

This 1984 Ford Mustang convertible is one of 5,260 examples produced to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Mustang. It is powered by a 302ci Windsor V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission and is finished in Oxford White over Canyon Red cloth. Equipment includes an aftermarket four-barrel carburetor, a high-flow water pump, a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential, a red convertible soft top, 16″ tri-spoke alloy wheels, articulated front sport seats, an aftermarket stereo, a premium sound system, power windows and locks, and air conditioning. Purchased by the seller in 2024, this 20th Anniversary Edition Mustang shows 6k miles and is now offered with a Deluxe Marti report, spare and removed parts, a damage-free Carfax report, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
All 20th Anniversary Edition cars were finished in Oxford White (9L) with GT350 stripes and commemorative fender badges. This convertible example features a replacement red convertible soft top as well as fog lights, window tint, and black trim. Photographs of blemishes are shown in the gallery below, paint chips are present, and the seller tells us that areas of the paint have been over-buffed.
The car has replacement 16″ tri-spoke alloy wheels, and the 20th Anniversary Edition examples were equipped with a revised suspension, a larger front sway bar, and the addition of a rear sway bar. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features articulated front sport seats upholstered in Canyon Red cloth, and the door panels are trimmed to match. Amenities include an aftermarket stereo, a premium sound system, power windows and locks, and air conditioning. Interior imperfections including a mark on a trim piece and wear on the driver’s seat piping are noted.
The tilt-adjustable three-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for amperage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 6k miles, approximately 500 miles have been added under current ownership.
The 302ci Windsor V8 features an aftermarket four-barrel carburetor and a high-flow water pump. Multiple fluids have been replaced under current ownership, and the removed carburetor is included in the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential.
The Deluxe Marti report lists a build date of March 13, 1984, and displays production statistics, factory colors, and equipment.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
