This 1985 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce was delivered new to The Sports Car Exchange in Dearborn, Michigan, and it was purchased on BaT in October 2023 by the current owner, who has since added approximately 400 of the 22k miles shown. The car is finished in Jade Green Metallic over black leather, and it is powered by a 2.0L twin-cam inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Features include a limited-slip differential, 14″ Campagnolo Daytona alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a black convertible soft top, a rear spoiler, bucket seats, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, Blaupunkt speakers, air conditioning, and power windows. This S3 Spider Veloce is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Carfax report and a clean Ohio title.
The car is finished in Jade Metallic with green pinstripes and equipped with a black soft top, a rear spoiler, impact bumpers, power-adjustable mirrors, quarter vent windows, chrome door handles, Pininfarina and Spider Veloce badging, and a single downturned exhaust outlet. Chips are notes by the selling dealer.
The 14″ Campagnolo alloy wheels were mounted with 185/70 Hankook Kinergy ST tires circa 2023. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The bucket seats are upholstered in black leather. Additional amenities include air conditioning, power windows, a locking glovebox, a wood shift knob, Alfa Romeo-branded floor mats, and a Sanyo AM/FM cassette stereo linked to Blaupunkt speakers.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,700-rpm redline. Gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are mounted in the center of the dashboard. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 22k miles, approximately 400 of which were added during current ownership.
The 2.0-liter DOHC inline-four features Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection for a factory rating of 115 horsepower and 119 lb-ft of torque. An oil and battery change were performed in preparation for the sale, and the spark plugs and crankshaft position sensor were replaced five years ago.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. A clutch fluid flush was performed in preparation for the sale.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to The Sports Car Exchange Inc. of Dearborn, Michigan, as well as factory colors, options, and a suggested retail price of $18,145. Manufacturer’s literature and service records included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage.
