This 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL was purchased new by the current owner from Marsh Motors in Hamden, Connecticut, and it shows 28k miles following registration history in that state. Finished in Arctic White over blue leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a dark blue soft top, a removable hardtop, silver-finished 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels, fog lights, electric windows, central locking, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This R107 is offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a Connecticut title.
The car is finished in Arctic White (147) and features a color-matched removable hardtop and a dark blue convertible soft top. Additional exterior equipment includes fog lights, a power antenna, and chrome-accented bumpers and trim. Tears on the soft top sides are noted by the selling dealer, and photographs of paint-meter readings are presented in the gallery.
The silver-finished 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin tires. The car was factory equipped with power steering, a fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The two bucket seats are upholstered in blue leather, and interior features include electric windows, central locking, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The analog clock and cassette stereo do not work, and there are cracks in the dashboard.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 28k miles, all of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.5-liter V8 was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission fluid was changed in 2019.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage from its first entry in February 2006.
