This 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 remained registered in California until 2016 before relocating to North Carolina, where it was purchased by the selling dealer in 2025. Finished in beige over patterned tan cloth upholstery, the truck is powered by a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Features include 15″ chrome wheels, locking front hubs, front disc brakes, air conditioning, and a Kenwood stereo. Showing 165k miles, this FJ60 is offered by the selling dealer with an accident-free Carfax report and a clean North Carolina title.
The truck was finished from the factory in Beige (4E9) and was refinished in 2017. Exterior features include dual round headlights, chrome bumpers with black end caps, and a split tailgate. There is corrosion beneath the left headlight, and the selling dealer notes paint blemishes around the body. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
The 15″ chrome wheels are mounted with 235/75 Firehouse Destination A/T tires that have 2017 date codes. The front axle is equipped with manually locking hubs, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in patterned tan cloth as well as a matching folding rear bench and door panels. Equipment includes air conditioning, a Kenwood stereo, a center console, and a rear window defroster. The driver’s seat bottom has been repaired with mismatched upholstery, and there is wear on the rear wheel well covers.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a 4,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 165k miles.
The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six is equipped with a single carburetor and was factory rated at 135 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage. An entry in February 2022 states that the car was designated as a gross polluter in California, although the car has since passed California emissions inspections.
