This 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 is powered by a replacement 4.0L 3F-E inline-six linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The truck is finished in Dark Gray Metallic over striped gray cloth and black vinyl, and equipment includes 3M window tint film, a roof-mounted solar panel, an Old Man Emu 2.5″ suspension lift, black 16″ steel wheels, front disc brakes, Focal speakers, and a Sony stereo. The truck is finished in Dark Gray Metallic (155) and features chrome bumpers with black end caps as well as quad rectangular headlights, chrome mirror caps, window visors, 3M window tint film, a roof-mounted solar panel, a split tailgate, and a receiver hitch. Some window seals were replaced in September 2021. A September 2020 entry on the Carfax report notes damage to the roof. Rust was repaired, body filler was applied, and the roof was refinished. Black 16″ steel wheels from a Toyota Tundra are mounted with 285/75 Toyo Open Country A/T II tires. An Old Man Emu steering stabilizer and 2.5″ suspension lift have been fitted along with 1.5″ front and 2″ rear wheel spacers. The front brake pads were replaced along with the rear shoes and wheel cylinders in August 2024.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in striped gray cloth with black vinyl sides and accompanied by matching door panels. Sound insulation material was added in 2021 and the air conditioning system was recharged in August 2024. Appointments include Focal speakers, a Sony stereo, a center console, and a rear window defroster.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 344k miles, approximately 31k of which were added under current ownership. The speedometer cable was replaced in April 2022.

A replacement 4.0L 3F-E inline-six was installed in March 2021 and the rear main seal, side cover seal, oil pan gasket, and spark plugs were replaced in May 2021. The fuel pressure regulator and pulsation damper were changed along with the vacuum lines in 2022, and the radiator, thermostat, and drive belts were replaced in 2023. The oil was changed in December 2024 and the battery was replaced in preparation for the sale.

Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. A transmission cooler was added and the transfer case was resealed in 2019.
