This 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300SL was initially sold in Florida and spent time in Maryland through the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2023. Finished in Arctic White over blue leather, the car is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a removable body-color hardtop, antilock disc brakes, 16″ Gullideckel wheels, gray lower body cladding, power-adjustable seats, and a cassette stereo. Service carried out in March 2025 involved converting the air conditioning system to utilize R134a refrigerant, repairing the shift linkage, and installing a replacement blue soft top, top hydraulic cylinders, and hardtop hardliner in addition to replacing the tires, strut mounts, and battery. This R129 has 59k miles and is offered at no reserve by the selling dealer with an owner’s manual, a tool kit, a wind deflector, partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Maryland title.
The car is finished in Arctic White (147) with a removable body-color hardtop and gray lower body cladding. Exterior equipment includes fog lights, headlight wipers, and front fender vents. The hardtop headliner was replaced and a new blue soft top was fitted in preparation for the sale, at which time the top hydraulic system was serviced with replacement cylinders and fluid.
The 16″ Gullideckel alloy wheels were mounted with Riken Raptor ZR AS tires in March 2025. The strut mounts were also replaced. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with ABS.
The power-adjustable bucket seats feature position memory and are upholstered in blue leather, and the driver’s seat was re-trimmed in preparation for the sale. Woodgrain trim accents the center console and door panels, and additional appointments include a deployable roll bar, cruise control, a cassette stereo, and automatic climate control with R134a-based air conditioning.
The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel fronts a replacement instrument cluster featuring a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The replacement digital odometer indicates 59k miles.
The 3.0-liter M104 inline-six was factory rated at 228 horsepower and 201 lb-ft of torque. The battery was replaced and the oil was changed in preparation for the sale. The car passed a Maryland state inspection in March 2025.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, and the shift linkage was repaired in March 2025.
The Carfax report is free of accidents and other reported damage.
