This 1991 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in black over black leather. Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, 16″ Design 90 alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, fog lights, power-adjustable seats, an Alpine stereo, and air conditioning. The car was purchased by the seller from its long-term prior owner in 2021, and work performed since has included replacing the timing belts, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, and front wheel bearings. This 944 S2 Cabriolet is offered in Rhode Island at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
The car is finished in Black (L041) and features a black convertible soft top, pop-up headlights, and fog lights. An aftermarket mobile phone antenna is mounted to the trunk, and the seller notes scratches on the trunk lid and paint cracks on the right front fender.
The 16″ Design 90 alloy wheels are fitted with Continental ExtremeContact tires that were mounted in 2024. Braking is handled by four-wheel power-assisted ventilated discs with ABS. The front wheel bearings and front brake pads were replaced in 2021, and a July 2024 service record indicates that the rotors were replaced.
The cabin features power-adjustable seats upholstered in black leather along with a color-coordinated center console and door panels. Amenities include dual front airbags, air conditioning, cruise control, and an Alpine head unit.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 134k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership. The odometer was repaired in July 2024.
The water-cooled 3.0-liter M44 inline-four features Bosch engine management and was factory rated at 208 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. A timing belt service was completed in 2024, at which time the water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, radiator fan switch, and valve cover gasket were replaced. Corrosion is noted on the underside components.
Additional underside images are provided in the photo gallery below.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
