This 1997 Ferrari 550 Maranello shows 30k miles following registration history in several states, and it is powered by a 5.5-liter V12 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Finished in Rosso Corsa over Beige Tradizione leather upholstery, the car is equipped with a limited-slip differential, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, fog lights, rear wheel spacers, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, power-adjustable Daytona-style seats, a gated shifter, drilled aluminum pedals, a CD stereo, and automatic climate control. The car was listed on BaT in March 2021 and December 2022, and work following the selling dealer’s 2024 acquisition is said to have included replacing the timing belt during a 30k-mile service. This 550 Maranello is now offered by the selling dealer with an owner’s manual, a tool kit, a Carfax report, and a clean New York title.

The Pininfarina-designed aluminum bodywork is finished in Rosso Corsa (332) and sits atop a tubular steel frame. Features include a hood scoop, front and rear spoilers, fender vents, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, fog lights, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear bumper cover. A December 2021 entry of the Carfax report lists an accident involving another motor vehicle resulting in damage to the rear. The rear bumper cover is said to have been subsequently replaced. Blemishes are visible on the lower portion of the front splitter.

The 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with staggered Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that were installed in preparation for the sale. Braking is handled by black-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners. Wheel spacers were fitted at the rear under previous ownership.

The cabin features power-adjustable Daytona-style seats upholstered in Beige Tradizione leather. Amenities include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, electric windows, a CD stereo, and rear luggage straps. Sticky interior controls were addressed in 2010. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat bolster, and the dashboard leather is lifting near the windshield.

The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel fronts a Jaeger gauge cluster with a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,600-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure, while an analog clock and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are located atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 30k miles.

The 5.5-liter quad-cam F133A V12 features 48 valves, dry-sump lubrication, and Bosch Motronic engine management for a factory-rated output of 478 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed and the timing belt was replaced as part of a 30k-mile service in April 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The exhaust system has been modified with a resonator delete.
