This 2000 BMW 740iL is a long-wheelbase example that remained registered in Florida until the seller’s purchase in 2023, and it now has 36k miles. It has been fitted with an Alpina front spoiler, Bilstein dampers, H&R springs, Bavsound speakers, and a revised infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and an integrated backup camera. Powered by a 4.4-liter M62 V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, it is finished in Anthracite Metallic over gray Nappa leather upholstery. Equipment includes 18″ M Parallel Style 37 alloy wheels, xenon headlights, a sunroof, Park Distance Control, cruise control, and dual-zone automatic climate control. This 740iL is offered in California with a clean Carfax report and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
The car is finished in Anthracite Metallic (397) and features an Alpina front spoiler, a decklid spoiler, revised xenon headlights, LED taillights, black kidney grilles, headlight washers, fog lights, Park Distance Control, and a sunroof. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
The 18″ M Parallel Style 37 alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that have 2023 and 2024 date codes. Bilstein dampers and H&R springs are installed, and the car is equipped with All-Season Traction Control and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).
The cabin features front seats upholstered in gray Nappa leather. An obsolete mobile phone remains housed in the center console, and interior features include a CD changer, Bavsound speakers, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an infotainment system, the latter of which features Apple CarPlay and an integrated backup camera.
The replacement leather-wrapped M steering wheel frames a 155-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 36k miles, approximately 800 of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.4-liter M62TUB44 V8 was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 324 lb-ft of torque. A Cosmo Racing air intake has been installed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed automatic transmission, and the seller states that a revised rear differential has been installed.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
The car has not passed a California emissions test.
