14k-Kilometer 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello

This 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello is a left-hand-drive unit that was produced for the Japanese market prior to being imported to the US by the selling dealer in 2024. The car shows 14k kilometers (~8k miles), and it appeared on BaT in October 2024. The timing belts, belt tensioner bearings, and motor mounts were replaced in December 2024. The car is finished in Argento Nurburgring over Bordeaux leather, and it was optioned from the factory with the Fiorano Handling Package. Power is supplied by a 5.5-liter V12 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, fog lights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, power-adjustable seats, a gated shifter, drilled aluminum pedals, a CD stereo, and automatic climate control. This 550 Maranello is now offered in California on dealer consignment with the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean Montana title.
The 550 Maranello was styled by Pininfarina, and this example is finished in Argento Nurburgring. Equipment includes projector-style headlights, fog lights, a hood scoop, a front spoiler, front fender vents, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear bumper cover. Paintwork is noted on the lower portions of the nose, fenders, and rocker panels.
The 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin tires. The car was optioned with the Fiorano Handling Package, which included stiffer springs and a revised steering rack. Braking is handled by red-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners.
The power-adjustable seats are upholstered in Bordeaux leather that extends to portions of the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Carpeted floor mats line the footwells, and additional appointments include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, electric windows, a CD stereo, a Sony CD changer, and rear luggage straps.
The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel fronts a Jaeger gauge cluster with a 340-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,600-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure, while an analog clock and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are located atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 13k kilometers (~8k miles).
The 5.5-liter quad-cam F133A V12 features 48 valves, dry-sump lubrication, and Bosch Motronic engine management for a factory-rated output of 478 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque. Service completed in December 2024 totaled just over $5k and consisted of replacing the timing belts, belt tensioner bearings, and motor mounts in addition to bleeding the cooling and power steering systems.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage from an initial update in October 2024.
The car has not passed a California emissions test.
