This 2005 Ducati Supersport 1000DS is powered by an air-cooled 992cc Dual Spark L-twin paired with a six-speed transmission and was refinished under previous ownership in red with racing livery over a silver trellis frame. Equipment includes a full fairing, a stepped two-up seat, an Öhlins monoshock, 17″ Marchesini wheels, triple Brembo brakes, clip-on handlebars, and a dual exhaust system with carbon-fiber mufflers. This 1000DS was purchased by the seller’s spouse in 2025 and is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of its owner with a clean Arizona title in the current owner’s name.
The bodywork was refinished in red with multicolor racing livery under previous ownership, and it is mounted over a silver-finished trellis frame. Features include a stepped two-up seat, a passenger grab handle, a tinted windscreen, and a left bar-end mirror.
Marchesini 17″ alloy wheels were powder-coated gold and wear Michelin Pilot tires that were installed in 2025. Adjustable suspension consists of an inverted 43mm Showa fork as well as an Öhlins monoshock mounted to the aluminum swingarm via a progressive linkage. Stopping power is provided by four- and two-piston Brembo calipers mounted over dual 320mm discs up front and a single 245mm disc at the rear.
Clip-on handlebars carrying CNC Racing levers are mounted above the top triple clamp and positioned behind Magneti Marelli gauges which consist of a 160-mph speedometer and an 11k-rpm tachometer, both of which have inset digital displays. The digital odometer indicates 6,800 miles, approximately 100 of which were ridden by the seller.
The air-cooled 992cc Dual Spark L-twin is equipped with a Power Commander ECU tuning module, four desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder, a Ducati Performance clutch basket and hub, and a replacement two-into-two exhaust system with carbon-fiber mufflers. Work performed in 2025 is said to have included replacing the timing belts, clutch, and battery, and changing the oil.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission and a red drive chain.
The Carfax report contains a total of two entries: a 2005 registration in California, and unreported collision damage that occurred between April 2008 and April 2009.
