This 2007 Ducati 1098S was purchased new by its current owner and has been modified with carbon-fiber fenders and bodywork, a Termignoni titanium and carbon-fiber exhaust system, Slingshot fluid caps, a Drive Systems quick-change rear sprocket, a Sargent seat, a SpeedyMoto billet top triple clamp, CRG levers, and more. Power is provided by a 1,099cc Testastretta Evoluzione L-twin paired with a six-speed transmission, and additional equipment includes Öhlins adjustable suspension, a single-sided swingarm, Marchesini forged alloy wheels, Brembo disc brakes, and a Ducati Data Analyzer. Service in preparation for the sale included changing the fluids and replacing the battery and timing belts. This 1098S is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of its owner with removed parts, a passenger seat and pegs, a key code card, a Ducati Digital Analyzer fob, and a clean Florida title in the owner’s name.
The fully faired bodywork is finished in red with carbon-fiber accents and is mounted over a red trellis frame. The bike has been modified with:
- CRG adjustable rear-set foot controls
- Carbon-fiber fenders, lower fairing, tail section, inner fairing panels, countershaft sprocket cover, and fuel tank and ignition key surrounds
- Slingshot quarter-turn fuel cap & oil fill cap
- Sargent rider seat
- Pro Grips gel zipper guard
- STM frame plugs
- Puig tinted windscreen
- Motographix gel front number plate
- Rear fender eliminator kit
Photos showing a crack in the windscreen can be viewed in the gallery.
Black-finished Marchesini 17″ Y-spoke forged aluminum wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Road 2 tires. Adjustable Öhlins suspension consists of an inverted 43mm fork with titanium-nitride-coated stanchions as well as a piggyback monoshock connected to the single-sided alloy swingarm by way of a progressive linkage. Braking is provided by a pair of 330mm drilled rotors with Brembo Monobloc calipers up front as well as a single 245mm drilled rotor with a Brembo two-piston caliper at the rear.
Clip-on handlebars are secured below a SpeedyMoto top triple clamp that anchors an Öhlins piston-type steering damper, and they have been fitted with CRG levers, Pro Grip grips, Slingshot reservoir caps, and a throttle lock. Instrumentation consists of a MotoGP-derived LCD unit with an integrated shift light, a row of indicator lamps, an arcing bar-style tachometer, and digital readouts for speed, lap times, air and coolant temperatures, and a clock as well as the Ducati Data Analyzer (DDA). The digital odometer shows 1,400 miles.
The liquid-cooled 1,099cc Testastretta Evoluzione L-twin was factory rated at 160 horsepower and features four desmodromic valves per cylinder, Marelli electronic fuel injection, elliptical throttle bodies, a Ducati Performance ECU, red Samco coolant hoses, and a Termignoni dual exhaust system with carbon-fiber muffler covers. The valves are said to have been inspected at 600 miles, while work in April 2025 included changing the fluids and replacing the battery and timing belts.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission and a drive chain. Modifications include an STM clutch pressure plate, a Slingshot open clutch cover, and a Drive Systems quick-change rear sprocket.
