This 2008 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 S was purchased new by the current owner and it is finished in red with carbon-fiber bodywork over a red trellis frame. The bike is powered by an air- and oil-cooled 1,078cc L-twin paired with a six-speed transmission. Equipment includes Marelli electronic fuel injection, an Arrow exhaust system, a Ducati Performance ECU, adjustable suspension, Brembo triple disc brakes, 17″ Marchesini forged-alloy wheels, hand guards, bar-end mirrors, a Sargent two-up seat, aftermarket billet aluminum covers and accessories, and a rear fender eliminator kit. Work in preparation for the sale consisted of changing the fluids and replacing the battery and timing belts. This Hypermotard has 3,700 miles and is offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a factory ECU, two keys, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The front fender, headlight fairing, and rear cowl cover are finished in red, while carbon-fiber elements include the front splash guard, fly screen, instrument shroud, tank cover, Shift-Tech rear hugger, and front and rear side covers. Additional details include a billet oil cap and reservoir covers, a Sargent two-up seat, Rizoma adjustable rear-set foot controls and passenger footpegs, a Competition Werkes rear fender eliminator, Kellerman LED rear turn signals, Speedymoto frame sliders, and a Slingshot Racing billet aluminum side stand.
Black-finished 17″ Marchesini forged-alloy wheels with red pinstripes are mounted with older Michelin tires. Adjustable suspension consists of an inverted fork with carbon-fiber covers in addition to an Öhlins remote-reservoir monoshock attached to the aluminum single-sided swingarm. Braking is handled by radially-mounted Brembo Monobloc four-piston calipers over 305mm discs up front as well as a two-piston Brembo caliper over a 245mm disc at the rear. The brake fluid was flushed in preparation for the sale.
The black-finished handlebar carries hand guards with integrated turn signals and folding bar-end mirrors and is mounted to the upper triple clamp with an STM riser. The LCD dashboard consists of a digital speedometer and a bar-style tachometer, and the digital odometer indicates 3,700 miles.
The air- and oil-cooled 1,078cc Dual Spark L-twin features desmodromic valve actuation, Marelli electronic fuel injection, Speedymoto timing belt covers, A Ducati Performance ECU, and a full Arrow exhaust system with twin under-tail titanium and carbon-fiber mufflers. Work in preparation for the sale included changing the oil and replacing the battery and timing belts.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a hydraulically actuated multi-plate dry clutch paired with an STM pressure plate with a Slingshot Racing quarter cover as well as a six-speed transmission and a red D.I.D drive chain rolling on a Superlite quick-change rear sprocket and carrier. The clutch fluid and transmission fluids were changed in preparation for the sale.
