This 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake coupe was ordered by the seller and their late wife and collected new via Shelby Museum delivery. The pair used the vehicle as a show car in Indiana, and it now has 3,700 miles. Finished in Red Candy Metallic over Charcoal Black leather, the coupe is powered by a supercharged 5.8-liter Trinity V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes the SVT Performance, SVT Track, and Electronics packs as well as Matte Black stripes, Shelby/Wilwood brakes, 20″ Alcoa forged wheels, Recaro sport seats, and a Shelby-tuned suspension with a Watts link. This Shelby GT500 is now offered by the original owner with an SVT certificate of authenticity and build sheet as well as a Ford window sticker, service records, a car cover, accessories, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Indiana title in the name of the seller and their late wife.

Production of the GT500 Super Snake was limited to 500 units for the model year, and this example is finished in Red Candy Metallic Tinted Clearcoat. Exterior features include Matte Black side and over-the-top stripes as well as a carbon-fiber front spoiler, a Shelby Super Snake hood, HID headlights, a rear spoiler, and aftermarket carbon-look front grilles. Records indicate that the rear valance panel was replaced in March 2014, and the front lower spoiler was replaced in August 2018.

Matte black 20″ Shelby-branded Alcoa forged aluminum wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The car rides on a Shelby/Ford Racing suspension with a red-finished rear Watts link. Stopping power is provided by Shelby/Wilwood six-piston front and four-piston rear brake calipers over slotted and cross-drilled rotors.

The Recaro front sport seats are upholstered in Charcoal Black leather with Black Stripes and feature embroidered Shelby Cobra logos on the backrests. Equipment includes a Shaker Pro sound system, cruise control, a cue ball shifter, and air conditioning. The optional Electronics Package added dual-zone climate control and a navigation system. Shelby and aftermarket interior trim is installed, and the airbags have been replaced since 2017.

The microsuede-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. Additional gauges are mounted in an A-pillar pod. The digital odometer indicates 3,700 miles.

The supercharged 5.8-liter V8 left Shelby in 650-horsepower specification, and the seller commissioned the installation of the 850-horsepower specification Kenne Bell 3.6-liter liquid-cooled supercharger in March 2014, at which time different fuel rails were also installed. The engine is further equipped with a Shelby air intake and a performance cooling package. The SVT Track Pack added an external oil cooler, a transmission cooler, and a differential cooler, and the car was ordered with a Borla cat-back exhaust system. The battery was replaced and the oil was changed in June 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential.

A Shelby build sheet and certificate of authenticity are included with the car along with a Ford window sticker, service records, a car cover, and accessories.
