This 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500XD was outfitted by Midwest Automotive Designs of Elkhart, Indiana, and was purchased by the current owner in 2018. Features include 16″ polished steel wheels, a roof-mounted solar panel, an Ultra Start alarm system, two Samsung TVs, a secondary rear audio system, a microwave oven, a sink, a refrigerator, four-camera monitoring system, three heated and massaging captains chairs, and a Clarion head unit with Bluetooth connectivity linked to Polk Audio speakers, while a lavatory and sleeping area are located in the rear-most part of the interior. Finished in black, the extended-height van is powered by a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 linked with a five-speed automatic transmission. This Midwest Automotive Designs Weekender has 10k miles and is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a clean Carfax report and a clean Ohio title in the owner’s name.

The extended-height van is finished in Jet Black (040) and features a front spoiler with integrated fog lights, side steps, a receiver hitch, a roof-mounted solar panel, a rear spare tire carrier, and tinted windows. This is a relist after the vehicle was previously sold on BaT in April 2025 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner’s participation on BaT has been restricted.

The 16″ polished steel wheels are mounted with Continental VancoFourSeason tires that have 2016 date codes. The van rides on independent front suspension and a solid dually rear axle, and braking is handled by discs at all four corners. The chassis is equipped with an Electronic Stability Program (ESP).

The front cabin houses swiveling heated and massaging captain’s chairs upholstered in black leatherette. A Mito four-camera monitoring screen is mounted to the dashboard, and equipment includes cruise control, crosswind assist, air conditioning, and a Clarion head unit with Bluetooth connectivity linked to Polk Audio speakers.

The living quarters include an additional heated and massaging captain’s chair along with inward-facing three-person lounge seating, storage cabinets, privacy blinds, overhead lighting, a 28″ Samsung TV, an Ultra Start alarm system, a secondary rear audio system, a Norcold refrigerator, and a microwave oven.

The rear compartment can be configured as a lounge or a sleeping area. A second 19″ Samsung TV is mounted to the forward wall, and the adjacent bathroom has a sink and a power-operated exhaust vent. The macerator and black water pump were replaced in 2024.

The multifunction steering wheel sits ahead of a 120-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, a fuel gauge, and a configurable digital display. The digital odometer indicates 10k miles, approximately 4,500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 was factory rated at 188 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque.  The fuel and air filters were replaced in 2023, and the AdBlue pump was replaced in July 2024.

Power is routed to the dual rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission.
