This 2001 Mercedes-Benz SLK320 was modified under prior ownership with fiberglass bodywork in the style of a 300SL Roadster. Finished in Cream, the body features wheel-arch “eyebrows,” chrome bumpers, and fender louvers with twin horizontal aluminum spears, while the interior is equipped with fixed-back seats for two trimmed in red leather and an two-spoke steering wheel. Power is supplied by a supercharged 2.3L M111 inline-four linked with a six-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, power steering, and four-wheel independent suspension with a multilink rear setup. This 300SL-style R170 was acquired by the selling dealer in 2025 and is now offered in Costa Mesa, California with a clean Colorado title.
The custom fiberglass bodywork is finished in cream, and features include wheel-arch “eyebrows,” dual hood bulges, fender louvers accented by bright spears, a driver-side mirror, and chrome bumpers. The Carfax report lists an accident involving rear damage in 2002. The seller notes various scratches.
Painted 16” wheels wear knockoff-style hubcaps and are wrapped with 205/55 Pirelli P4 tires. The SLK’s running gear includes servo-assisted ventilated disc brakes, power steering, independent front suspension, and a multi-link rear assembly as well as an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Automatic Slip Control (ASR).
The fixed-back bucket seats are upholstered in red leather, and color-matched trim accents the door panels, center tunnel, sills, and upper dashboard. Additional features include a body-color dash, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and a wood shift knob.
The ivory-color two-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 270-km/h speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows over 99k kilometers (~62k miles), and total mileage is unknown.
The supercharged 2.3L M111 inline-four was installed during the build, and it was factory-rated at 190 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident in 2002.
The Colorado title is listed as a duplicate.
