This illuminated double-sided Pantera sign reportedly remained with a former employee of Malmon Lincoln Mercury of St. Paul, Minnesota for over five decades before it was acquired by the current owner in 2025. The sign advertises the DeTomaso Pantera in black script and also features the Italian design house Ghia crest set over a white background. Measuring about 50″ wide, 12″ tall, and 9″ deep, the sign has a metal case, translucent panels, fluorescent illumination, 120-volt circuitry, and twin eye hooks for hanging. This Pantera illuminated double-sided sign is now offered at no reserve in Montrose, Minnesota.

The DeTomaso Pantera was designed by the Italian styling house Ghia and sold in the United States through Lincoln-Mercury dealerships. This double-sided sign features translucent panels with black text and the burgundy, blue, and silver Ghia crest over a white background. The sign measured approximately 50″ wide by 12″ tall by 9″ deep. Discoloration and imperfections in the sign are captured in the gallery.

Construction consists of a metal case and twin eye bolts are found on the top for hanging. The power cord with a three-prong wall plug exits from the top of the sign.

Illumination is provided by a single fluorescent bulb with 120-volt circuitry and a pull-chain on/off switch.

A label affixed to the side of the sign is from Underwriters’ Laboratories Inc.
