Volkswagen Beetle (1958-1979)

This 1959 Volkswagen Beetle is a Deluxe model that was initially delivered to the Philipines and is said to have been ordered new by Major Rudolf Anderson, a U-2 pilot who was shot down and killed in action during the Cuban Missile Crisis. The car was imported to the US and reportedly remained under his widow's ownership until the 1980s.

This 1971 Volkswagen Beetle was refurbished under prior ownership and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2023.
